Hope Riveron

I am a Cuban American born in Havana. I immigrated to the U.S. to escape from Communism in 1966, and became a citizen in 1971. I obtained a Masters in Education at Havana University in Cuba, and a Bachelor in Psychology/Sociology at St. Thomas of Villanova University's Biscayne College in Miami, Florida.

My love for education gained me the title "The Over Achiever" as I have been studying most of my adult life. I have 30 years of experience teaching Spanish and Sciences in public school and college, as well as providing art instruction in private studios.

The passion for Fine Art has been my motivation to research and practice different art mediums. I paint in Oils, Watercolors, Acrylics, Pastels, Pen & Pencil, and Air Brush. I've researched ancient Chinese Silk Painting modality and mastered the technique to make beautiful renditions. I have participated in several Fine Art Exhibitions and my paintings have been displayed in art galleries with excellent success. I am a recently retired public school teacher and moved to Johns Creek, Ga. I look forward to transitioning to a full time Fine Arts artist and sharing my art with the Atlanta community.
